dialect, Thai and Japanese. She is known for her straight forwardness and for her
strength in negotiations. At present, she is the president of Gems Marketing Co.,
Ltd., a company dealing in exporting of all kinds of gemstones. She was also served
as the board of committee of the Thai Gems and Jewelry Traders Associations for

Chaiwat obtained the A.G. certificate from AIGS in 2007.
He joined his family business, a manufacturer and exporter of precious gems straight
after his graduation.
Currently, he has 4 years of experience working as active trader in the field, working
between Bangkok and Chantaburi, one of the world's major gems cutting centre, and
also going on road shows to major gems and jewelry exhibitions.

Alan Lam - first and foremost a businessman, gemologist and a marketing professional.
Mr. Lam has over 30 years experience in the gem and jewelry industry and is well
known in the Thai gem community. Mr. Lam is noted as one of the pioneers to introduce
East African gemstones to the market when Bangkok dealers were still unfamiliar
with stones other than rubies, sapphires and jade. Mr. Lam has an excellent reputation
for his honesty and modesty. He is a vegetarian, non-alcoholic drinker and a devout

Maung Win Aung also known as Winny came to Thailand from Burma almost 30 years ago.
Winny is presently the manager of Harlyn Jewelry Factory located at the Gemopolis
(Jewelry Industrial Estate Project in the outer skirts of Bangkok). Winny has over
400 workers under his supervision and is well respected for his knowledge in jewelry
manufacturing techniques. Winny has a vast experience in jewelry casting, setting,
polishing and all aspects of jewelry line production as well as obtaining maximum
gold yield and recovery. Winny has a proven track record for his management skills
and has been noted for his ability to exceed the company's annual sales target repeatedly
for many consecutive years. |
